Carol Phillips was born in Hawaii, but spent most of her childhood years nestled near a rich riverside forest in picturesque Oregon. Her wild and free upbringing paved the way for imaginative growth and expression. As a child she was captivated by the beauty of the natural world and immersed herself in the realms of fantasy and adventure. This fascination has stayed with her into adulthood and inspires much of her personal work today. The creation of fantastical creatures, characters and other worldly realms continues to fascinate her. Through her art she hopes to share her glimpse into these beautifully mysterious worlds, or help others give a visual to theirs. Creating imaginative realism.Carol also enjoys helping others bring their ideas characters, creatures and worlds into being. Currently she is working as a freelance illustrator, conceptual and graphic designer on various projects. She loves to work in traditional mediums such as oils, and pastel, but also modern media such as digital painting. She is well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, Indesign and other graphics programs. She is primarily self taught, and always eager to learn and explore.

In addition to creating lush fantasy artworks, carol also is an avid classically trained singer.  In her free time she enjoys singing many genres of music from classical & jazz to heavy metal.
